At the end of the '90s, the Koreans experienced
a great ordeal such as the IMF relief assistance,
the restructuring, and subsequent devaluation of
the Won. However, we must admit that we have learned
precious lessons during these dark days.
For
we could find out the right direction by mulling
over what had gone wrong and how to mend it. It
was also a great opportunity for us to reconfirm
our efforts to make a world in which more people
are healthier and happier. This is our privilege
and our responsibility as well.
I can still remember
those faces of hard-working KunWha people at labs,
factories, and in the market
places. I've already seen the beginning of the 21st
century in their resolute expressions.
I felt
that with them, KunWha's dream to make a happier
world will come true in the near future. We will
be more studious in our research, which will be
the source of our competitive power. In the future,
we KunWha Pharmaceutical company will build up
a stronger tie with customers by training elite
researchers equipped with accomplishments and specialties,
together with a program of seminars and academic
conferences. In addition, we will open a new
chapter of a leading marketing strategy of the 21st
century by introducing a cyber management
paradigm which will provide the work force with
a notebook computer and an e-mail address.
